Born in Madrid, he studied in Bonn and at the Madrid German School. He got a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and completed postgraduate studies at The Hague Academy of International Law (Netherlands).
Mr. Castrillo is a member of the Distinguished Bar Association of Madrid, the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and Wirtschaftsjunioren Madrid (WIJUS).
